IT'S FALL & TIME TO PLANT SOME TREES!

This is a Bobcat TS44M tree spade for 44" root ball. Universal attachment, fits Bobcat, Case, New Holland, Gehl, Cat & John Deere and other universal skid steers. It runs off hydraulic controls with universal standard 2 hydraulic couplings and a 2 wire (pos. & neg.) electrical hookup. It's in great condition. Includes the Pendant Controller so you can use this will all brands of skidsteers. All functions work perfectly. Blades in good shape with little wear.  There are NO LEAKS. Hoses in good shape. Stored mostly inside. I have videos on YouTube of the this spade operating.  I bought this to move about 70-80 trees and then just going to resell.  I don't have a lot of time so I am slow to move the trees and didn't want to rent a unit.  At this price you can do the same as me and then just resell to the next person. Don't rent for $1000 a week! Save your back! Once you start digging there is no need to get out of the bobcat. Don't take chances on a home made unit where it is cheaply made or one of the rusty old "needs work" spades listed on EBay.   This was used with a Takeuchi 150 and 773 bobcat.  Feel free to come see the unit operate in person.  It has been my experience that transplanted trees do better when planted in the fall and have all winter to establish their root system.  With all the drought the U.S. has been experiencing these past few years it can be a risk to plant in the Spring only to have the ground dry up before your tree starts establishing it's root system.  I can load it right on your trailer or can put it on a pallet and have it strapped to be shipped via carrier of your choice.  I might be able to deliver for a few within a few hundred miles. 

I have for sale a Bobcat TS44M Skidsteer mounted  Modified Tree spade for sale. (Modified is the type of spade shape, doesn't mean user modified) Model:#TS44M,  Bobcat hydraulic connections can be used with a 14 Pin Bobcat electrical connection. Spade is in great shape and ready to go to work. Will move trees 3 - 4.5" in diameter with a ball weight of 578-1177 lbs.  This modified model has the most popular blade style for nursery production and balled and burlapped tree harvesting. Open frame design with hydraulically operated gates allows easy access to the loader, excellent visibility to the tree and does not require the operator to leave the loader to open and close the gates.  We used this for a tree moving project and now it's time to move it on and let someone else do the same!  This was over $14,000 new. The tree spade itself weighs 2145lbs without a tree.  This spade is in excellent condition and needs nothing.

Below is a Waterman 14SMR 12 vdc 20w Solenoid that is used on these tree spades to control the blades.  They are very hard to locate if not impossible.  They are obsolete and are not available anywhere.  

The replacement is a Parker S10LMR (or looks like SIOLMR) 12 VDC 20W as shown below.  I understand that these now too are obsolete from Parker. I have one of these new in the box I paid over $300 for if someone is having trouble locating one I can sell for $300 if interested.

Homemade Bobcat Counterweights: I modified the back of my bobcat 773 Turbo to allow for counterweight to be added.  I added two "receiver style" brackets on either side of the lower body to allow this steel from to be inserted.  I then plan to add two 55 gallon drums and fill them with water and strap them to the rear of the bobcat for additional rear weight to act as a counterweight for using the tree spades.  I will add more pictures later.
